Propane is chemically a three-carbon alkane with a molecular formula C3H8. It is in a gaseous state and set a standard temperature and pressure. It is compressible specifically to a transportable liquid and consider it as a by-product of a natural gas that processes to refine petroleum. It is also commonly used to extract chemical from cannabis and similar to butane and isobutene. It belongs to a group of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG).
Using propane as a solvent is consider as one of the famous extraction method particularly in the cannabis industry. It is quite popular and consider as an extracted cannabis product to refer as a propane hash oil (PHO). It extremely works on a low boiling point, -43.6 F (-42 C) with high vapor pressure. 110 psig at 70 F (21.1 C) to keep the propane liquefied that allows the extraction to occur at extremely low temperature. A propane’s low boiling point -43.6 F (-42 C), the extraction will minimize the plant nutrient loss from the heat and allow greater capture of trapped native compound. The extraction process is done specifically in a closed-loop vacuum system. It also allow to have a rapid and efficient recovery for the propane extraction solvent.
A low-quality trim, and waste biomass input material to easily convert a greater amount of cannabinoid extract against other extraction methods with the use of propane. A low-temperature method with high-quality input material can easily yield a greater amount of quantity, higher quality crumble. A propane extraction offers the widest array of products that include crumble, shatter, sauce, crude, diamonds, crude, winterized, decarboxylase, distillate, vapes and formulated products. It is similar to butane and is virtually no product the propane that is a great option for operators that have a diverse product portfolio.
The liquefied propane gas is flammable, colourless, clean, and free of any hydrogen sulphide-based ethyl mercaptan odorants: Research Grade, the pre-cleaned cylinder fitted OPD valve, Made in the USA.
